How do I contact Camp Wyanokie? Camp Wyanokie does NOT have a customer service phone number, and there is no on-site staff. All communication must go through our website: https://campwyanokie.com/contact-us/
How do I make a reservation? All reservations must be made through our reservations website at the link below. All reservations MUST be made before 5pm on the date of check-in (we do not take reservations after 5pm) and reservations must be for a total of 7 days or less. https://www.campspot.com/book/campwyanokie

Can I book a campsite In-Person? No, all reservations must be done through our on-line reservation system. We do not have any on-site staff at Camp Wyanokie.
Can I pay using Cash, Venmo or PayPal? No, all reservations must be done through our on-line reservation system, which only accepts Credit or Debit Cards.
Why am I having trouble checking out on-line? There are three possible problems. 1. We do not accept reservations after 6pm on the day of arrival, try a later date. 2. We do not accept reservations for stays longer than 7 days, try limiting your stay. 3. Your campsite is not available for a group your size, try another campsite (the WEST campsite has the largest capacity)
ELECTRICITY, PLUMBING, WIFI: Camp Wyanokie offer RUSTIC camping. The campsites DO NOT have electricity, plumbing, showers, running water or WiFi.
LAKE USAGE-Swimming and boating are strictly prohibited at Camp Wyanokie. No paddle boards, rafts, boats or kayaks are allowed.
DAY USE – Camp Wyanokie sites can be rented for day use by going to our reservation system. Choose the day you want to use the camp as your check in day. Choose the following day as your check out day. https://www.campspot.com/book/campwyanokie

FISHING AT THE LAKE: Fishing is allowed at our lake, but all individuals 16 yeas old and older are required to have a valid NJ fishing license. All fishing is “catch and release” Please return ALL fish to the lake. Our lake is stocked with bass, blue gill and crappie.
FIRE PERMITS & FIRE WOOD– Fire permits are NOT REQUIRED. All campsites are equipped with fire rings that are covered under a seasonal fire permit from the state of NJ. All fires MUST be confined to the fire rings. All ashes from your campfire MUST be shoveled into the ash cans located at each campsite. Fire Wood is NOT supplied at Camp Wyanokie. Please bring firewood, fire-starter and matches, or a lighter from home. Local firewood delivery is available. Contact information for local firewood delivery will be provided in your checkout message.
SANITATION / TRASH-Camp Wyanokie does NOT have any trash cans. Campers must bring trash bags and pack out and remove all garbage and dispose of it at home. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD or TRASH around your campsite. Food and trash attract BEARS!
BEARS – It is highly unusual for Black Bear to come to Camp Wyanokie. However, occasionally there are BLACK BEAR in the area. They are attracted by FOOD & TRASH. So, please store all food and trash in your car, or in plastic bags or sealed containers at least 50 feet away from your campsite, and TAKE ALL TRASH HOME WITH YOU.
BATHROOMS, SHOWERS, RUNNING WATER: There are two Latrines (out-houses) on the property of Camp Wyanokie. There is no running water, no showers, no modern bathrooms. Please bring toilet paper and hand sanitizer.
WATER SUPPLY – There is NO running water at Camp Wyanokie All campers must supply their own drinking water. There is a hand-pump water well located on the property, but this water is NOT tested and should not be used for drinking.
LANTERNS & PORTABLE STOVES–Gasoline, kerosene, propane lanterns and portable stoves are permitted under the supervision of an experienced group leader. No propane containers are to be left in camp. Fuel must be stored in an Underwriters Approved container. Most (not all) campsites have a charcoal grill. You must bring your own charcoal.
CONDUCT—Conduct or language which is indecent or unduly annoying to local residents or other campers is prohibited and may be sufficient reason for removal/arrest/prosecution of the offending person(s). West Milford Police Department enforce a strict no noise after-hours policy.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES–Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages, including beer, is not permitted on the property without written permission of the Commission. West Milford Police Department enforce a strict No Alcohol policy.
MOTOR VEHICLES–Off-road vehicles, dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATV’s are prohibited on the property. Licensed motor vehicles are restricted to defined roadways and parking areas.
PETS-Dogs and other pets are allowed (1-2 per campsite) but MUST kept on a leash at all times while in camp. Excessive pet noise between the hours of 10pm and 6am is prohibited.
