Camp Wyanokie facilities may be used by individuals or family groups, youth groups (under adult supervision) educational groups, Scout groups, Church groups, or service organizations. Residents and groups from the five New Jersey owner towns (Caldwell, Fairfield, North Caldwell, Roseland, West Caldwell) are subject to the “Resident” rates.  All other individuals or groups will be considered “Non Resident” and subject to “Non Resident” rates.  Click here for the 2020 rate chart.

If you are interested in applying for a permit to use Camp Wyanokie, it is recommended that your application be submitted no less than two (2) weeks in advance of the requested date(s).  Your application is NOT considered confirmed until you receive an email confirmation AND complete payment (by check or Venmo) in advance.  We DO NOT accept in-person payment.   

A note about camp fires at Camp Wyanokie:

Please note that the 2.5 foot diameter fire rings at each Camp Wyanokie campsite are OK to use with your approved application.  However, you MUST bring a fire extinguisher to the campsite in case of emergency, and you MUST bring a shovel with you and put your (cool) fire ashes in the ash cans provided at each campsite.  The LARGE fire rings at the Lion’s Den and West Campsite can only be used with a fire permit from the state of NJ.  You must print the application and MAIL it to: NJ Forest Fire Service 240 Main St. Andover, NJ 078211 one – two weeks prior to your visit. By applying to use the facilities at Camp Wyanokie, I and all members of my group, agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Camp Wyanokie Commission, the individual Commissioners, and the municipalities who own Camp Wyanokie against and from any and all claims arising from our use of the premises or from any activity, work or other things done, on or about the Premises, and shall further indemnify and hold the aforementioned harmless against and from any and all claims arising from any breach or default in the performance of any obligation on our part to be performed under the terms of this agreement, or arising from any act or negligence, by myself, my guest(s) or invitee of ours, and from all costs, attorney’s fees and liabilities incurred in or about the defense of any such claim or any action or proceeding brought thereon, and in case any action or proceeding be brought against Camp Wyanokie by reason of such claim. I, my group, guests, and invitees hereby assume all risk of damage to Camp Wyanokie, our property or injury to persons in, upon or about the Premises, from any cause including the unintentional negligence of the Camp Wyanokie Commission, Commissioners and the municipalities who own Camp Wyanokie.  I also agree to give prompt written notice to Camp Wyanokie in case of damage, casualty or accidents that occur on the premises during my stay.
