Campsites and picnic areas at Camp Wyanokie can only be used with a paid reservation. Scroll down to fill out a reservation application. Camp Wyanokie may be used by individuals, families, youth groups (under adult supervision) educational groups, Scout groups, Church groups, or service organizations. Residents and groups from the five New Jersey owner towns (Caldwell, Fairfield, North Caldwell, Roseland, West Caldwell) are subject to the “Resident” rates. All other individuals or groups are welcome, but will be considered “Non Resident” and subject to “Non Resident” rates. Click here for the 2020 rate chart.
If you are interested in applying for a permit to reserve a campsite at Camp Wyanokie, a reservation request must be submitted in advance. Your reservation is NOT considered confirmed until you receive an email confirmation AND complete payment (by check or Venmo) in advance. We DO NOT accept in-person payment.
A note about camp fires at Camp Wyanokie:
Please note that the fire rings at each Camp Wyanokie campsite are OK to use with your approved application. However, you MUST bring a fire extinguisher to the campsite in case of emergency, and put your (cool) fire ashes in the ash cans provided at each campsite.
You MUST read the Fire Regulations 2020 and contact the West Milford fire/police dispatcher prior to your visit to let them know that you plan to make a campfire. Simply dial 1-973-728-2802 and provide the operator with the dates of your stay, and the campsite you are staying at.
Note: Camp Wyanokie holds a seasonal fire permit. The permit for 5/22/20 – 8/22/20 is # A2-2020-15 and the permit for 8/22/20 – 11/22/20 is # A2-2020-16. Wyanokie 2020 Fire Permits_

By applying to use the facilities at Camp Wyanokie, I and all members of my group, agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Camp Wyanokie Commission, the individual Commissioners, and the municipalities who own Camp Wyanokie against and from any and all claims arising from our use of the premises or from any activity, work or other things done, on or about the Premises, and shall further indemnify and hold the aforementioned harmless against and from any and all claims arising from any breach or default in the performance of any obligation on our part to be performed under the terms of this agreement, or arising from any act or negligence, by myself, my guest(s) or invitee of ours, and from all costs, attorney’s fees and liabilities incurred in or about the defense of any such claim or any action or proceeding brought thereon, and in case any action or proceeding be brought against Camp Wyanokie by reason of such claim. I, my group, guests, and invitees hereby assume all risk of damage to Camp Wyanokie, our property or injury or illness to persons in, upon or about the Premises, from ANY cause including the unintentional negligence of the Camp Wyanokie Commission, Commissioners and the municipalities who own Camp Wyanokie. I also agree to give prompt written notice to Camp Wyanokie in case of damage, casualty, illness or accidents that occur on the premises during my stay.
